Statement of Faith:

 

 Myrtle Grove Baptist holds to these basic beliefs as foundations for life and practice

  • The verbal inspiration and authority of the Scriptures.

  • The Bible reveals God, the fall of man, the way of salvation, and God’s plan and purpose in the ages.

  • The Trinity – God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

  • The deity, virgin birth, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.

  • Salvation is by grace, plus nothing and minus nothing. The conditions to salvation are repentance and faith.

  • Justification is by faith alone and believers are accounted righteous before God only through the merit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

  • The visible, personal and eminent return of Jesus Christ.

  • The everlasting conscious blessedness of the saved in Heaven and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost in Hell.

MGBC seeks to strengthen Christians through the preaching of the Word in worship, ministry, discipleship, fellowship, and reaching the lost through intentional evangelism.

Purpose Statement:

 We exist to evangelize the lost, edify the saved, minister to the needs of others, and make a positive impact for Christ in the community.
